Jake Morley 'Falter' released 3rd November plus live at Globe, Cardiff.

Released 3rd November

Jake Morley has been around for a while now getting support from all over including Radio 2 and BBC6 Music. His first single ‘Feet Don’t Fail Me Now’ is a playful and upbeat song about the everyday struggles we face. The addition of a choir gives the track a great community spirit and the video that accompanies the song is a brilliant and creative approach to bringing something new to a singer songwriter music video. Check it out here-

Jump forward a couple of years and we find a more fragile Jake Morley exploring emotions that not a lot of us are capable of putting in to words. In terms of songwriting ‘Falter’ is a very sophisticated exploration in to a man who seems to have lost his way a little, “I used to be headstrong, all I seem to do is falter”. Despite the fragility of the lyrics, the backbone of the track provides a groove and a string arrangement that seems to become the anchor that keeps the artist and listener on track. Despite the title it would be fair to say that Jake Morley’s current path is unfaltering. Check the video out here -
