We catch up with DJ Moneyshot to talk about a busy Summer and to gain some knowledge on his top 5 of 1995!
HJ: Welcome to EMW. Please introduce yourself to our readers.
MS: Hello, I go by Moneyshot, but you can call me DJ Moneyshot. I may also respond to Glandmaster Flash, Flangemaster Gash and Roy.
HJ: 2012 looks like a busy year for you. Which events are you most looking forward to this Summer?
MS: The whole festival season is packed tighter than a 1970's seaside postcard bra, thankfully. Rolling with the wonderful Chai Wallahs crew means I get to play to a coupla thou' peeps at places like Shambala and Beachbreak. They went off like old cheese last year, so I'm looking forward to ripping them again. Most of all I'm looking forward to Sunrise festival. It's been a while since I've seen aged hippy balls, white dreads and being offered acid at 9am.

HJ: What can we expect from your set on the 6th April?
MS: Bags of quick mixing, acapellas thrown about, cuts and scratches. Plenty of hip-hop, funky ish, mid-tempo breaksy stuf, pop, rock...and anything that tickles my fancy between now and then.
HJ: Top 5 tracks of 2012 so far?
MS: I don't really play modern stuff. Anyone can do that. My top five tracks of 1995? Oh, go on then...
1) J-Live - Braggin' Writes
2) The Bucketheads - The Bomb!
3) Duran Duran - White Lines
4) Josh Wink - Higher State of Consciousness
5) Tha Alkoholiks - DAAAM!
HJ: What keeps you going in-between shows?
MS: The love of a good women. Masturbating online. Big sandwiches. Viz magazine. Making beats. Making mixtapes. Making a mess. Someone else cleaning it up.
HJ: What's the drink of choice after ripping up a crowd with your dope cuts?
MS: Cider, and increasingly, Jaeger Bombs. Mainly cider. Before, during and after...I accept any and all free drinks though (hint). So see you out soon x
